This book is a hands-on guide to writing a Rust implementation of Lox, the language invented by Robert Nystrom for his book "Crafting Interpreters". The book follows the CodeCrafters challenge of the same name. Readers will start by implementing a simple scanner, moving then to more advanced concepts like parsing expressions and executing statements.
The book currently covers the base challenge and the following extensions: "Parsing Expressions", "Evaluating Expressions", "Statements & State".
This work is also available in PDF format on LeanPub in a pay-what-you-want scheme.
